I think that this is a great development and one that should have been in place many years ago. I welcome the fact that the manual was audited by external Arab readers since it gives it much credibility. Obviously, it would be great if the manual will also be published in Arabic and English because it will then be accessible to more people and will generate even further research and knowledge in the field. Lets hope that policy makers on the national and municipal levels in Israel will make good use of this manual.

I hope that the manual mention the fact the relations were good between Palestinians and Jews prior to 1948 than the Zionist took over the country and the peaceful coexistence in Palestine descended into chaos. It is almost impossible for peace to be attained with the Zionist agenda.

Thanks Uri, and thanks for the pointing out a potential misunderstanding.

TAFI (The Abraham Fund Initiatives), and the coexistence network, rarely provide direct financial support. TAFI does have a small grant scheme, but strategically most of its effort goes towards high-impact, large-scale projects which aim for systemic change.

The network supports organizations through actions such as training, advocacy and facilitation :

The Network will function as a powerful cooperative body whose goal is to empower those organizations that are active in this field of activity, thereby contributing to their professional success.

If you would like to make a contribution to Nemasim, please contact Uri through their site.
